Dark Ancestral Dark Witch warns Baba Yaga: Part 1(Free Write)
Some History
Age comes with the knowledge of a great deal
of many things. It is not just used for being able to handle great power, but
the knowledge of how things work within the balance of the world. Being the
eldest and oldest witch within not just a family but the coven meant that there
was a responsibility that was placed on one’s shoulders. Antigone being a part
of the eldest family known as one of the Dark Ancestral Witches took that
responsibility to heart especially since she was the eldest daughter born of
her mother Livia and the eldest granddaughter of Ishtar and Enki. Family
bloodline was everything within the witch and warlock world. If one did not
know their true ties to magic than one would not be able to fully understand
what they could do.
Because she was so old, Antigone traveled throughout
the world for centuries gathering up information and meeting other
witches/warlocks. One such witch that would later become a name to fear was
Baba Yaga. Yaga did not start out as one whose name was written into storybooks
as a witch. No, she started off as a lonely woman, whose husband abused her,
cheated on her, and finally left her. This left her broken, angry, and bitter.
Yaga sought a way to change her fate from being lonely and wanted never to be
hurt in the manner she was ever again. Antigone met her in a dark forest in
Russia. She had gone through there off a whim after a coven ball with the
Founding Families.
A presence kept nagging at Antigone the
whole night, thus she walked through the forest till she met Yaga. Upon meeting
her, The Dark Ancestral Witch took pity upon Yaga. She taught her the ways of
witchcraft and granted her some abilities to rise through the ranks of the
magical world. “These shall grant you all that you desire, but with a great
price with each thing you do. Magic is about balance. If one does not respect
that than one will face the consequences. You may stay within these Russian
lands, but under the leadership of the founding family here. They will not go
after you only if you do not do anything out of line. “Antigone told her
finally after a while. “I will do my best to follow the old ways, my master.”
Yaga replied with a slight smile on her face. Her long wavy hair blew on her
face for a moment as Antigone looked at her. Though she could not put her
finger on, Antigone could not shake the feeling that Yaga would do something
that would cause some pain within a family. “The founding family here is named
Novikov. They are the Russian family that helps those in power here make it.
Though it is behind the scenes. That is how it is supposed to be everything
within balance and us behind the scenes or we face the rather of the mortals.
Though mortals have no real abilities they can become dangerous. Remember that
Yaga and I shall be around when ever needed.” The Dark Ancestral Witch said
with a smirk upon her face before snapping her fingers and disappearing back
into the castle. What Antigone did not know was after giving one such as Yaga
abilities something soon would have to be fixed.
A warning
Throughout the centuries, Antigone met up
with Yaga teaching her the ways of the magical world. Training her in magic and
Yaga grew in her powers. She was a quick learner and through Antigone’s eyes
Yaga was like family. Not of child of course but perhaps in a small way,
however, Antigone would only have one person be called daughter and that was
Isis. She had of course Malantha, who was her stepdaughter but in the way of
blood/title of daughter that would only be Isis. The Dark Ancestral Witch had
more responsibilities to deal with than Yaga could even imagine. Antigone had
her beloved daughter that she protected and always would even if it meant her
life. Though she kept tabs on her,
Antigone could not simply drop everything to tend to Yaga. In a way, without
realizing it, Antigone had slightly abandoned Yaga to her own devices. The Dark
Ancestral Witch could feel a shift in the spiritual presence of the world and
sought out to figure out what or who could do such a thing. What she did not
know was her student would come back to bite her and her coven. That is the
thing with loneliness and bitterness. Both can create a black hole in a
person’s heart. At that point no form of loyalty will stop them from doing
anything unthinkable.
Confirmation:
The Dark Ancestral Witch heard about the
Novi
kov and Anhalt families being split up when the
current leaders of both families were children. The sadden her, but as a rule
Antigone could not be fully involved with their countries. If she got involved even
with something small like an investigation than it could cause major political
issues. The crimson eyed witch was a stickler for rules and laws. This was due
to her Roman heritage and all that she was taught by her parents. She also knew
that the Tenebris {Aurelius Antoninus} family had a great responsibility throughout
the magical world. The responsibilities that had been put on each of the
Tenebris {Aurelius Antoninus} family had many would shutter at.
Hearing the news about what happened broke Antigone’s
heart, yet in the back of her mind she felt that there was a puppet master
behind it all. Though she could not personally get involved with the investigation
and knew that the siblings of both families were doing that, Antigone was able
to do some investigation on her own. Well, to be more exact she sent her most
trusted friend/servant Sumbul Aga to do some investigating behind the scenes.
She had a feeling she knew who was truly behind everything. Little did she know
everything would become clear and a decision to help someone would cause so much
pain.
Sitting in her study with a pile of papers
to Antigone sense Sumbul Aga coming into the study. “Sultana, ihtiyacın olanı
buldum.” (Sultana, I have found what you needed.) He spoke as he bowed before
her large wooden desk. Antigone sighed as she stood taking the piece of paper from
his hand. Antigone feared that what she thought would be true. As she opened
the paper, her eyes read the text which confirmed everything. Baba Yaga went to
the government and people of Russia as well as France and used her abilities to
turn them against both the families. She was the one that caused so much pain
and siblings to be torn apart along with losing their parents in the process. Anger stirred within Antigone as she plopped
down onto her large red cushioned chair. She put her head into her hands, “Onun
gibi büyülü dünyayı öğretmesine izin vererek ne yaptım? Dengeyi ve kuralları
biliyordu.” (What have I done allowing teaching such as her the magical world.
She knew the balance and the rules.) “Ne yapacaksın Sultan?” (What will you do
Sultana?” Sumbul Aga asked with a worried tone in his voice.
“Daha fazlası var Sultanım. Lady Baba Yaga
da kendini öğrenci yaptı.” (There is more my Sultana. Lady Baba Yaga also has
made herself a student.) Sumbul Aga stated with his Turkish accent. Antigone
looked up from her hands and narrowed her eyes. She did not have to ask for
clarification. “Öğrenci Amayah Lestat adında bir vampirdir.” (The student is a
vampire named Amayah Lestat.) The wind shifted outside and the spiritual
presence within the room became tense. Antigone did not need any further
information. The Dark Ancestral Witch stood up and opened a portal. “Teşekkür
ederim sevgili arkadaşım. Döneceğim. Lütfen IŞİD'in her zaman korunduğundan
emin olun. Ne olursa olsun Giulia Lefay'in onu koruduğundan emin ol. Kız
kardeşlerimin yanı sıra yeğenim, yeğenim ve ailem bir bütün olarak korunuyor.
Sonunda korunuyorsun. Geri döneceğim. Öğrencimle ilgilenmem gerekiyor.” (Thank
you, my dearest friend. I will be back. Please make sure that Isis is always
protected. Make sure that Giulia Lefay protects her no matter what. As well as
my sisters, niece, nephew, and family are protected. Finally, you are
protected. I will return. I need to deal with my student.)
Sumbul Aga bowed his head and backed up so
he would not be dragged into the portal and Antigone stepped through. She
walked through till she could sense the shift of the location. As the portal opened
on the other side, the elder witch could see the forest where she could locate
Baba Yaga’s cabin. Stepping through the portal, stepping down onto the ground,
and looking around Antigone knew it would not be long. “Yaga.” She said walking
deeper into the forest as the portal closed behind her. As she walked, the
forest began to change into almost decay which could happen with the use of dark
magic. Antigone could smell Yaga’s spells throughout the forest and at last her
crimson red eyes landed on the cabin with bird legs. Typically, one would have
to go through several trials to get to her cabin, but Antigone did not as the
bird legs lowered down to the ground level.
The old wooden carved door opened and before
her eyes at a small table in the middle of the kitchen sat Yaga sipping tea as if
she was waiting for her. Stepping through the thrush hold, Antigone could feel
the spells to keep others out break under her magical presence. “Яга, нам с
тобой нужно поговорить” (Yaga, You and I need to talk.) Antigone said as she
walked towards the table. Yaga took a sip of her herbal tea, her long wavy hair
perfectly wild, and her fingertips black from the magic she used. “Мой старый
учитель, прошло слишком много времени. Это заняло у тебя достаточно много
времени. Я думал, что мне придется нанести больше урона.” (My old teacher, it
has been far too long. It took you long enough. I thought I would have to do
more damage.) Yaga replied with a thick Russian accent as she put down the teacup
on to the small white porcelain plate. Yaga smirked as her purple eyes looked
up at The Dark Ancestral Witch.
Disclaimer: this
explains the Tenebris family and those descended from them with the connection
of deities. This means in all technical terms they are goddesses (half),
however, proclaim themselves as witches. They have followed the ways of Livia
in this. They are fully aware of their deity connection but refuse to use that
title. They instead worship only a select few even though they descend from
them. This also explains their power levels and will be updated with further
details. Valentina and I have already discussed this. This should also be
posted on the group blogs.
Blood magic is one of the most ancient forms
of magic that links to the gods. The Tenebris family and those who are from
that line such as Sultan. Ishtar and Enki began the Tenebris line and most of
their children except two chose to keep their deity status. Livia was their
daughter that decided to only proclaim herself as a witch after leaving home
and falling in love with the Emperor of Rome. Marcus Aurelius Antoninus and
Livia Tenebris had five daughters.
Because of this link to the Akkadian(that
will be later known as Mesopotamian), the sisters and those descended from them
have the ability to use the darkest and lightest forms of magic. This is why
the Tenebris family is known as the eldest family within the Ut in Veteribus
coven. The eldest of this clan can use blood magic. Those within the Sultan
family later on in the line evolved to gain the abilities of shadow magic and
water magic. Though shadow magic is not as dark as using someone’s blood
against them it is still considered darker than even water magic. Water magic
was considered on the lighter side, however, depending on the person it can be
used for the darker.
Antigone was known as
the Dark Ancestral Witch. She was the daughter of Marcus Aurelius and his lover
Livia Tenebris. She had three sisters that were biologically her full sister
and several half-siblings. After having to flee Rome moons ago, Antigone found
her way to the Turkish empire of the Ottomans. She adopted the name of
Mahidevran to hide from those who would want to consume her soul or, to be more
exact, kill her. Within that time, she met a man named Suleiman Sultan and bore
him two children. Mustafa Sultan and Isis Sultan, but only Isis lived on
throughout the years with Antigone. Mustafa was killed in his adulthood, which
still scars Antigone and causes her to be overly protective of her daughter.
Antigone lived happily
under the name of Mahidevran, for she could live without fear of attacks other
than those from mere mortals that attempted to conquer the Ottomans. Sulieman
and the other man within the kingdom efficiently dealt with those easily. Those
with magical abilities could have helped with any situation dealing with deadly
war. However, they helped in different ways to avoid drawing attention to them.
The Ottoman Empire
was vastly different from the rest of the world being somewhat kept in its own
bubble. However, even this bubble could not keep the hands of the grim reaper
from the doorstep of the Empire. Mortals’ lives are a string that can be easily
snapped at any moment. Antigone understood this fact seeing many she held dear
pass from this world and into the afterlife. But the loss of her Suleiman, her
son, and many more that she cared for began to take a toll on Antigone. She
knew only a few within the Sultan family would be able to live forever having
that gene passed down to them, but it was those that immortality forgot to kiss
that always became memories to Antigone.
Even with death of
those she loves, Antigone did not for many years leave the Ottoman Empire until
the new world began to call to her. The old world had seemed to forget the old
ways of magic. The ways that kept the witches and warlocks grounded in not just
tradition but the very essence of magic itself. Being an ancestral witch,
Antigone had a duty to find out all new witches and warlocks who come into
their powers even if they had magic since childhood and teach them the old
ways. In a way, she helped guide them to gaining control over their abilities,
which at times can be unpredictable.
Leaving the old world
behind was not an easy thing for Antigone, yet she knew that she could not at
least for now stay there. The new world had more possibilities and less
memories. The new world called to her, and she took the call even if she did
not know where she was going to end up.
An
Dark Ancestral Witch Comes to town:
Her travels brought
her to a place called Storybrooke Maine. She felt drawn to it due to the magic
that felt to be not of this world. Storybrooke held within it old and new magic
which seemed to be able to blend. It was new for her, yet there was something
that seemed to catch Antigone’s senses. She did not know what it was just yet
but felt intrigued enough to book a stay at the hotel within Storybrooke before
going to the local diner. The diner was a cozy joint with an older woman
running it. “What brings you in here deary? You are not from around here you?”
the older woman asked. Antigone smiled as she walked to the counter and took
one of the seats. “You can say that.” She said with a thick Roman accent. “And
yet you seem to fit in.” the older woman replied with a clever smile.
The woman seemed to
know a bit about everything and yet was still kind to those who were not from
around the area. “Can you tell me about this place?” Antigone asked with a
sweet tone. The woman nodded and began to tell her all about the town that was
made from magic. Antigone could listen about the town all day if she could, yet
as if the woman narrating every detail in the town knew something Antigone did
not the story ended. “To understand the magic of this town you should go see
Mr. Gold’s shop. You seem like the type that would be most interested in such
things. Who knows what can happen in this town or why people come to it.”
Antigone gave a
slight smile and nodded. “Perhaps when you are done you can come back and have
something to eat. Perhaps tell your own story to this old woman” The kind woman
said. Antigone gave another smile, “perhaps. Thank you for your tale.” She
said, getting up and started to walk out of the diner. It was a quick meeting
and yet it was as if it had been planned out long before Antigone’s life began.
The Dark Ancestral Witch looked to one direction to the other until a shop with
the spiritual presence of both dark and light magic spilled out from it. It
wasn’t just dark and light magic but old and new like the town. Antigone tilted
her head to the left, her red eyes flashing crimson.
As she walked towards
the shop, it appeared the thought that the woman did not comment on Antigone’s
unusual eyes then again perhaps the woman knew that Antigone wasn’t a normal
human or perhaps the woman, herself from a tale just jumping off the pages. The
closer that Antigone got to the shop, the more the Dark Ancestral Witch could
sense that there is much more to the town or the shop that meets the eye. She
reached out to grasp the door of the shop, gently pulled it, and heard the ring
of the bell to tell the shop owner someone was there.
A door and bell the
keys of the unknown and a shop filled with antiques, things to pawn, and
magical things. Ding the bell on the door went, the sound filling the shop.
A blood contract is between a witch and
another in order to fulfill the wishes of the other person. This can be as
simple as winning a war or going to win a person’s heart, however, there is a
high price. The higher the order of the wishes the higher the price will be for
the person. This is due to the toll that it takes on the witch. Another reason
for the high price is the fact that magic takes and gives. Whatever is given
must have an equal thing taken away from the person it is given to.
How to do a blood
contract:
Firstly, there must be a want or need from a
person or persons. Once, the witch knows the want or the need than she will
grab a ritual knife that has been handed down to her through the generations of
her family. The witch will tell the person what will happen so they will
understand what will be expected of them. Upon understanding all the terms, the
witch will cut the right palm of the person and then own palm. She will allow
the blood to drip into a cup that is placed directly in the middle of a pentagram
also drawn in her own blood.
After a few moments, she will put her hand
upon the person that has the want or need. A thin line of light or black light
depending on the witch will slowly slither around both palms causing it where
neither can pull away. The witch will speak these words in Latin.
“A obligo me ad te, donec impleatur
contractus sicut vis” (A bind myself to you until the contract is fullfilled as
you wish.)
The contract sealed in blood gives the
person who has the want or need the ability to call upon the witch for whatever
they may wish. This shall be until the contract is completed; thus, the payment
will be given to the witch.
A fair
warning:
Do not take the contract that is made in
blood lightly. If the payment is not given to the witch, she will have the
right to take it from you by taking your life. If she does not than other
powers that be will. The payment will never be escaped.
