Antoinette's Bio (Will be updating) Category: Uncategorized
Disclaimer: Though this is mixed with historical people and dates, there are twists within which I enjoy doing. The next part and possible ending will be Antoinette's turning, how she became feral, and falling in love.
Borgia/Medici:
Contessina de' Medici and Cesare Borgia, two
people and families that were thought to never have a connection until twin
daughters had been brought into this world. Antoinette Marie de' Medici-Borgia
and Adelaide De’Medici-Borgia. The two girls would never been written in
history for history is written by the victors. The victors never wanted them to
be known to history because of the dark secret that they carried within their
veins. This meant that Antoinette and
Adelaide had other expectations placed upon them when they went out to court or
to see their grandfather the Pope
Antoinette and her sister being born made
questions and rumors arise about the legitimacy of their births let alone birth
rights. Cesare was after all born an illegitimate son and so were the rest of
his siblings. This made it harder to explain why they needed to be kept in the
dark truth of them even being born. One would think that the two girls would
grow hatred in their hearts. After all, they had siblings that were not even
looked down upon, yet they were the ones on both sides of their family rejected.
Though their mother raised them and took care of them it was still kept in
their dark who they really were. On their mother’s side it was just said that
they were orphans taken in by their mother as a charity work. It was more understandable for their mother
to keep their identities. Both understood that being a woman meant everything
to be pure and true to one’s own maidenhood.
However, on the side of their father it made
absolutely no sense since their aunt Lucrezia was also an illegitimate
daughter. Their aunt, whom was always kind to the two of them and never looked
down upon them; was able to be whom she was out in the open. This secret caused
a lot of pressure on Antoinette to be prefect, but no matter how hard she tried
this simply did not happen in the way that her father would ever want.
Antoinette saw her father as someone broke the rules in the past, but now with
her and her full sister, he wanted them to follow them completely.
Antoinette learned to live by two different
set of rules. The rules were simple those that her father and society put in
front of her while the other set was those, she had set for herself. She would
not go against the rules and promises that she made for herself. However,
sometimes the two separate worlds will collide, and one would have to choose.
Teen years/young
adulthood:
Growing into a young teen and into her adult
years, Antoinette learned quickly how to navigate court life within the many
different courts and that of the papacy. This would normally be difficult for a
“normal” person to navigate. However, Antoinette rather enjoyed watching the
people around her fall to their knees. It was a great pleasure to watch one by
one those who either went against her family or went against her sister or her.
Those who attempted to make her or her sister feel lower due to their birth
status.
This sets her off to go many times into the
forest around the castle where she grew up and feel the freedom of not being a
typical lady. She wanted to live free from the rules of society, however,
little did she know that this decision would change her life and her sister’s
forever.
Bitten:
Being a lady of status, the Borgia sisters
were used to going to other lands to promote the Borgia or Medici family power.
Alliances had always been made on the backs of the females of each land. It was
on one of these alliance trips that a meeting with an enemy of their father
changed everything. However, there was one that would even use the girls to
gain a personal stab towards their father. Cesare Borgia at one time was forced
to support Giuliano della Rovere. The cardinal had given Cesare a multitude of
promises that he would be able to keep his titles, land, money, etc. Yet this
was just to gain personal joy to see Cesare fall or kneel before him. This
would not really work against Cesare since he had more of a pride issue being
the son of Pope Alexander VI which came with more pride than one can simply
hold.
Antoinette and Adelaide had already been
known as the outcasts of the already odd Borgia and Medici families. Being
outcasts made them a bigger target than any of their siblings or other
relatives. Giuliano della Rovere kept tabs on what the girls did and where they
would go at any moment during the day. He waited till the right moment to
pounce or to be clearer make his move. He waited till they were of age to begin
to look for their mates and waited till the two girls went off into the woods
near their childhood home. He waited till all the other siblings had been sent
away to Rome or their noses into their studies or for the male training to be
in the military.
The cardinal knew that the sisters went off
often to the woods to think and even had a little cabin tucked in there to
escape the world of the Italian and papal courts. One summer night, the
cardinal made his way to Borgia land then to the woods around the time that
Antoinette and Adelaide would sneak off to their cabin to read their banned
books. This was his moment to make his move. The sneak little cardinal even
waited till the twins were deep entranced into their books of choice to slowly sneak
into the cabin and begin his plan.
Grabbing Adelaide first, the cardinal looked deep into Antoinette’s
eyes, “If you don’t want anything bad to happen to your sister then you will
not move and that goes for you as well little girl.” He said as he tightened
his grip upon the younger twin’s neck.
The twins wanted to scream but would anyone come in time and what did he
want to do to them?
Antoinette walked slowly towards them and
tried to grab the cardinal’s arm only to be thrown to the other side of the
room faster than she could think. Her head slammed against the wooden wall and
her body would not move as the “holy” man held out his right arm towards her.
She could feel a slight tightening around her neck and windpipe as if she was
being choked. This made her watch as her sister was brought closer to him and
his grip tightened around her twin. “Oh, how I long for this. Sweet innocence.”
The wicked tainted old man spatted out as he moved Adelaide’s hair from her
neck and dug his teeth into her flesh. Antoinette wanted to do something but
all she could do was watch her sister attempt to move from his grasp. Each
movement made him tighten around his waist even more than the second before
until her body became limp.
The horror thought came into her mind that
her twin was dead, but it was only the beginning of the plan that the old man
wanted to do. Laying Adelaide down onto the bed in the corner, Antoniette
watched as the old man put her twin’s arms over her chest, bit his own palm and
dripped the blood into Adelaide’s mouth. As a twisted or joke, he took his palm
towards his mouth, sucked his blood into his mouth, then brought his mouth down
upon her twin’s lips.
This seemed to last forever but it took only
seconds and before Antoinette could register what had happened, Giuliano della
Rovere left Adelaide there on the bed as movement slowly began to stir from
her. Antoinette’s eyes widened as she tried to move from him but before she
could even get control of her own body, the old man’s grip went around her neck
and forced her to watch as her sister began to stir. Screams filled
Antoinette’s ears which all came from her sister. “What did you do?” she screamed
trying to make sense of everything. “Oh, you will find out soon enough just
watch the greatness.” Giuliano della Rovere replied, running one finger along
Antoinette’s neck. “I have waited for this for so long and thought about this
for so many years. You both so beautiful
and the plan had to be perfect.” He stated taking his other hand and wrapped it
around her waist. “I could have done anything to you both, but this plan is far
grander than anyone could imagine. The outcasted twins of Cesare Borgia turned
into my fledglings and who knows perhaps young brides. Then again knowing both
sides of your families’ brides maybe not the proper word.” He said with a
wicked gleam in his eyes.
She could feel his hot breath upon her neck
and the screams of her twin became louder than ever before as Adelaide began to
thrash upon the bed. “What have you done?” Antionette asked in horror, trying
to move to the floor. “Like I said you will know soon enough, it is almost over
for your twin.” He replied slamming her to the wall and pressing his face
inches away from her neck once again. His grip ever tighter around her and due
to him being inches from her neck, Antionette had to watch as her twin stopped
screaming. All at once, all movement from Adelaide stopped and silence filled
the small cabin. “NO!!!” She screamed as she started to fight back against him.
“Oh, don’t worry she is not dead but very much changing. “The cardinal stated
with his thick Italian accent. “You will have done the same thing.” He said
digging his teeth (fangs) deep inside the flesh of her neck just as a gasp from
Adelaide. Antionette watched as her sister sat up and turned towards them.
