~coltessa removed her mask as she looked up to the person making reference to the lady lestat. she rolled her eyes up to him as her shadows formed her pet upon her shoulders. shadow did not care for lord blacksoul in the least. but as draven was doing his best to control his temper, her shadow would. she held her composure when she reminded him of her new name~
"might i remind ye mine lord. mine name hath not been raynes for centuries dear sir. ye be needing to address thine wife of lestat as such. lady lestat"
~she took her david's hand and dismissed the fact that he had the nerve to be here. she disliked his attitude with her david as well. she smiled to those addressing her as their grandmother, her heart felt so warm within her~
"'tis wonderful to finally meet members of mine heart's family. i hope i do well as ye grandmother as ye expect"
David heard the other males voice. He had imagined who it was. But wasnt sure to say the least. Hearing his sarcasm he let out a low growl from his lips. " Nay I am not. The black king Gage LeStat is. I want no part of. It's his kingdom. And his alone. " He said as his shadow wrapped around lady raynes. He didnt trust the male standing before them. He was here to have a good night and to celebrate his return of life. " M'Lady. Let's go to the party. You have lots of guest to meet. " He said tipping his hat to Draven. He could sense his presence but wasnt sure it was him
~he had followed her shadows. always watching her as if prey. but even the hunter needs rest, relaxation and a little fun. or so he hoped. he wasn't too thrilled to see who she was with. he had thought the maggot long dead. although he was not here to cause trouble, lord knows david caused enough with the black king gage to last a million lifetimes, he strolled himself over to bid them a greeting. to be close to her beautiful only made him long for her more. approaching them he raised his glass slightly~
"to an eventful night mine lady raynes. an eventful night indeed monsieur lestat. no longer king, correct?"
"he chuckled under his breath trying to hide the sarcasm from any others within the room~
David walked in side by side with colt. Grabbing a glass of bloodwyne. " Well my dearest. This is a night we will never forget. " He said to her kissing her hand softly.
Maddie walked in and seen Adrianna and Coltessa. " What a wonderful idea for the party. " Grandmother Colt. " She said walking up to her hugging her softly. " I am Maddie LeStat. I'm married to Parker. " Dhe said with a smile.
~she bore no such costume for such an event. adorning the best she could come up with, she knew her david and her heart would understand. the rest would just have to use their imagination. standing before the dusty mirror her shadows encased her and swiftly took her to the ballroom. her form spilled unto a darkened part of the beautifully decorated room. she would hardly know any of the guest. but with a look to the room, there be but one person there. perhaps she was early. she found a dimly lit seating area and with a lift of her delicate hand her shadows formed her goblet of her father's wine. she would wait to see if others would come as well. hoping to meet new friends and see those of her new family~
