When younger many nights she remembered what happened to her family that completely destroyed her inside her heart. Remembering the heart wrenching screams from her and Derik’s sister. Their father shot Lily in cold blood, having her turn to the window, looking outside. Her father never even had the guts to look at his daughter Lily as he shot her. Remembering the blood all over and not being able to save lily. At that point Maika knew she was next to be killed. Most of all that was blur to her that for some reason her mind blocked that part.

Maika truly loves her brother and their baby sister Lily, the tragedy of that night had left her emotions dead as well. Seeing the body of her lifeless sister on the floor surrounded by Lily's own blood. Maika's screams seem to never stop that night of horror. I was terrified to the point of not wanting to leave her. Last time seeing her brother was when he ran out of their cabin, and she had put all those memories in the back of her mind.

Many years have passed since the horror of that night not even remembering how close she was to being killed that night. If it wasn't for her brother Derik shooting their father and saving her life. Even these memories stayed blocked in her mind. When she was supposed to run out after her brother did. She felt an overwhelming quilt she couldn't leave her dead sister Lily alone. Staying behind those many years ago with the stench of rotting dead bodies and dried blood stains everywhere would normally have been overwhelming. Her quilt was too strong, and her mind shut down so the only thing she could do was stay behind.

In those years it seemed like she spent time alone and eventually became this beaten down child.  As her appearance had become tattered and smelly clothing she wore and hasn't eaten proper food in a while. She was able to survive for what food was left she ate her food almost like a wild animal. Even her looks made her unrecognizable with her hair so messed up everything about her was messed up literally.

Then finally there was hope for her to see there was someone looking around the yards and see them inside the cabin. She stayed on the kitchen cupboard, and she hadn't moved from that spot once. Looking at the woman in their cabin she almost gave a bit of a growl almost and held her hands up in attack mode. At that young age she was hardly in the right mind to hurt anyone. The woman was very kind. She stayed there with her and even gave her some chocolates. It was like a treasure to Maika she finally started eating a few of them. 

It wasn't long before she trusted Ayumi Delioncourt the woman tried talking to her the young. She was too young. Too frightened to speak for fear the spirit would visit her again. That had frightened her to the point of trusting Ayumi and taking her home. It was the most amazing thing she ever saw. It took a while for her to get used to all this for the first time and young Maika felt safe and loved. By a stranger who felt the girl’s tormented minds that had been broken. When in younger years Maika always felt there was something missing in her she wanted to know what it was.

After the horror that had happened before their eyes her body hadn't calmed at all she could feel she was weak. She started to fall to the floor still able to see her dead baby sister Lily. Seeing the blood that waded around her.  Maika could have sworn she saw a spirit hovering over her sister. It wasn't long before Maik tried to yell "Leave her alone I beg of you."  After having fallen fully to the floor and passing out. Later on that night Maika had woken up she screamed once again that the body of her dead sister was gone. What happened to her the fear was going through her wondering who was the ghostly figure that hoovered over Lily that way. Looking around the cold blood-stained cabin realized she was completely alone he mind had been broken that
