South of the Circles of seduction was a place
that was very enchanted. A long stony path took you to it's entrance.
Landscaped evergreen archways lined its perimeter. The garden was
enormous. All that lived within its walls was hand planted by the chaos
god, Morrison himself. His inspiration coming from a friend of his
sister Antigone's. The young girl stole his heart the first time he
laid his eyes upon her. He was not allowed to meet the young maiden.
He could only watch her from afar. His heart leaped every time he saw
her beautiful face. Forbidden by the gods to approach her due to her
mortal form. He observed and studied her each time she was with
Antigone. He was inspired by her to create something so remarkably
pristine that he would feel her aura just by being within a place that
possessed a great beauty such as she did.
For many years, he
watched the young girl blossom into an adult, he was still deeply taken
by her. That never faltering. As the girl matured she became even more
of a vision in Morrison's eyes. He admitted to himself that he was in
love with the young woman. Never before in his existence did the word
love cross his lips or was ever placated in his mind. The way the girl
made him feel was unlike anything he had ever felt. He had sensations
of warmth where he should have felt frigid in his black heart. He
worked on the garden for decades. Planting various flowers, one more
beautiful than the next. He traveled the world over to find exotic
plants and flowers to fill the shrine dedicated to the woman who's name
he never knew. She made him feel tranquil. Therefore he named it the
Garden Of Tranquility.
The garden was unique to the foliage it
had lain within it. Multiple temperatures and climate ranges had to be
obtained to keep the thousands of plants, flowers and trees living in
her honor. Morrison's favorite part of the garden was the Ice caverns.
The flowers that grew there were not like any in the entire world. He
had a powerful warlock enchant diamonds and ice crystals to appear as
moving, living, breathing, unique flowers of any kind imaginable. The
Ice crystals and delicate frost covered the flowers with a kiss of ice,
just barely visible. If one would touch a petal, they would wither away
and die. These flowers were the most delicate and fragile creations in
the entire world. They glittery effect they arrayed was similar to the
way the young woman's smile appeared to Morrison. Pristine and
flawless, nothing brightened his darkness more than to watch the young
woman laugh and smile.
Years passed, Morrison did not see the
young woman any longer. His heart grew colder, consumed by despair and
loneliness. He still would walk through the Garden each night and
visualize her shining face, The intense beauty the girl possessed, still
radiated deep within his mind and heart. Morrison decorated the
landscapes for years in her honor, hoping one day he would be able to
show her all he had done with his bare hands. She was his inspiration
for the entire thing, every tree, plant and flower that graced its
intensity. Spoke her name upon its soft breath.
There were many
species of animals that lived in harmony with one another in the garden,
none enemy to the other, none prey to any. Morrison saw to their needs
for nourishment. The beasts that dwelled within all were gallant and
magical to every detail. They all were tame as infants, they all loved
the touch of a gentle hand, to be patted and played with. Beasts of
every shape and size living together as a peaceful community, this was
indeed the most beautiful place in the world. She, his inspiration
continued to spark his imagination by adding new species all the time.
As the years passed on the garden was completed Beauty in it's rarest
form. The most gorgeous place upon the earth. He was proud of his
accomplishment, yet saddened that he could not share it with the one
whom held on to his heart.
Luck would come his way one summer's
night. He finally was able to speak to the young woman. He learned of
her name. It resignated in his ear like a soft melody, her name was
Dominique. The two became inseparable, hiding their feelings from
Antigone, also from the rest of the world. They would meet in secret
when the Moon rose in the night skies. Expressing their love for one
another, Their love growing from a crush into a proposal of marriage.
To his surprise she accepted his plea to be his wife. This made him the
happiest man that had ever existed. Their love was very deep and could
never be broken by anything. Not even space and time. Morrison sired
his beloved Dominique, making her just as he was a creature of the
nocturne, sunlight would never kiss her skin again. She was now his
vampire queen, his eternal goddess of the darkness.
Time came to
teach Dominique of the ways of the vampire, He first taught her how to
sate her blood lust, to feed when her body needed nourishment. He
taught her the spell of beguiling. Now came the time to show her to
become one with the beasts that dwell the earth. Morrison stood up
after they completed their evening meal together. "Now is time for me
to teach you another important lesson mine love. I have something I
have been longing for so many years for you to see. Come with me mine
love, I am taking you into the place I created in your memory. Before I
knew of your name I created a beautiful place where I would be able to
see you within my heart and my mind. No one has ever stepped foot into
it but myself. My sister does not even know of it's existence."
He
took her by the hand down the cobble stoned pathway to the majestic
aches that blanketed the top of the large garden's entrance. He placed a
key into her hand, This my love is what I have wanted to show you,
Take the key then unlock the gate. Allow me to show you what your
beauty has inspired in me. What I have created with my own bare hands.
This has taken decades to complete. You were my inspiration the entire
time for this entire place. It is yours Dominique, I call it the
Garden of Tranquility."
