"The Wedding of Morrison and Katerina Belmont Branch"
The Priestess of Lust instructs Morrison and Katerina to take a step forward.
“Morrison and Katerina, you are both here to pledge your love and commitment to one another and in doing so you reaffirm your love and commitment to the Goddess Selune”.
She pauses and asks them to face each other.
“From the night we come to the night we go,
cursed or blessed to walk the moonlight alone.
Sometimes another soul walks our path,
then two become one,
in love everlasting union,
Just as you two have.”
“Come forward, Goddess of the Moon and give this couple you’re blessing.
Within each other, these two are found, bear witness as their souls are bound.”
The Priestess of Lust takes an athame and slits both their wrists, allowing a small amount of their blood to drop within the goblet that holds the wedding rings, symbolizing the blending of their bloodlines. She binds the couple's left wrists together with a red silk scarf. The binding takes place over the vessel.
“Stand now as ye will stand forever,
like this crimson cloth, your hearts are tethered,
this goblet's contents are symbols of your devotion,
So, now take the rings from the Goblet”
The couple takes the rings from the goblet with their right hands. The Priestess asks the bride and groom to read out their vows of devotion to one another.
Katerina
It took us nearly an eternity to get here, but tonight I finally get to marry my best friend and confidant. From strangers to best friends, Morrison you are the most beautiful man I have ever known. My love for you has never waned. Like the moon it has always been full and like a cup, over-flowing.
I, Katerina Isabella Belmont, promise to be your devoted wife, your equal. I will fight for you and protect you in every way possible.
I love you with all my being and look forward to spending the rest of eternity by your side.
Morrison
Katerina, From the moment I first laid my eyes upon you, I knew, I had to make you mine.
You are full of elegance and grace, Beatiful and kind, complete perfection in my eyes.
When you speak to me, it feels as if I have been filled with new life.
You are the one whom owns my heart, you have for many years, Katerina Belmont.
You have filled my heart with happiness and strength.
There is no one, who could ever take that away from me, no one can.
I'm feeling pure happiness, Because of you, my love.
My heart is full of elation, I have deep feelings of love, that are full of you.
You are my baby doll. I love you, from the bottom of my heart.
No one has ever given me, the kind of love that you have given to me.
I don't feel that I deserve you Katerina, Although, I know you feel that way.
For that, I thank you, my forever loving partner. My confidante, my eternal love.
I promise to always be kind and to protect you always, my love.
You are my equal, you will always be treated as such, I feel honored that you are becoming my wife this evening.
I love you without bounds, for all of eternity you will own my heart.
This I promise you, my sweet baby girl. I love you endlessly.
The Priestess of Lust takes the goblet then sets it on the Altar and states:
“Above you are the stars, below you are the stones. As time passes, remember, like the star should your love burn brightly, like the stone should your love be firm. Be close, yet not so close that you restrict one another. Possess one another yet grant each other the freedom to grow. Be understanding and compassionate, and have patience with each other, for storms may come, but they will quickly pass. Be free to give affection and warmth. Fear not, lest the ways or words of the unenlightened give you unease. For the Lady and Lord are with you, now, and always.
As both your arms and the cloth form the symbol of eternity, may your love endure through this life and all others. As the Gods and the old ones are witnesses, I proclaim them Husband and Wife, and thus are they bonded in Blood. The Two are now one.
“I present Morrison Branch and Katerina Belmont Branch forever bound, eternally free! You are husband and wife for all eternity. You may now kiss each other to seal your eternal bond of love.”
