MIKAH GIVES THE BRIDE AWAY

The Cathedral was filled with friends and family of Damon Salvatore and Angel Kitten.  Soft music could be heard throughout the entire room.  Gage stood behind the Altar, he nodded to Damon.  Damon began to walk towards the altar followed by his best man and brother Stefan Salvatore.  His brother Mykel Salvatore, Black Prince Parker LeStat and Spencer Reid.  The groomsmen were all in their respected places. They all faced towards the entrance to watch the gorgeous party of the bride enter the cathedral.

The music picked up in crescendo also the volume, as the bridesmaids began their march up the aisle.  Sister-in-law Caiti Salvatore, Sister-in-law Caroline Salvatore and Black Princess Winter LeStat graced the cathedral with their beauty.  The ring bearer David Liam Jones and the Flower Girl Ophelia Xemous walked down the aisle.  Ophelia was dropping crimson rose petals while swinging her basket.  David was turning the pillow upside down and swinging it as he walked.  The two of them were giggling as they walked together.  Damon looked at them, then placed his finger to his lips to shush them.  The crowd laughed as the children became silent.

The Music intensified once more as The Matron of Honor Queen Cleo Nightshade and The Maid of Honor Lady Maddi Barringer walked together down the aisle.  How beautiful they looked walking side by side.  Once the maids were all assembled in front of the altar, Gage looked down the aisle towards the back of the Cathedral.  He motioned to the organist to begin playing the Wedding March.  The cathedral was once again filled with the sounds of majestic music.

The Bride, Angel Kitten was standing in the doorway. Her escort Mikah Jacobs took her by the arm.  He smiled at her as they began to march down the aisle.  Mikah whispered to Angel.  "Damon is a lucky man, indeed.  You are stunning. As they walked down the aisle, Angel looked beautiful in her exquisite white dress.  Damon looked at Angel as she was moving towards him, with love in his eyes.  As she got closer, everyone could plainly see Damon's expression.  He had never seen anyone more beautiful in his entire existence.  Stefan patted his brother upon his shoulder.  "You did good brother, she is a sight of pure elegance, I can tell how much she loves you. Also how much you love her.  You are a very lucky man."  Angel reached her place in front of the Altar.  Gage winked at her, smiling then whispered.  "You look very regal, Angel.  Damon, Are you ready for this?"  Damon nodded his head smiling.  Gage became more serious.  He began to address the large crowd in the cathedral.  The couple were completely lost in one another.  It seemed there was no one else in the room.  Only the two of them.

Gage:
Who gives this woman, to Damon Salvatore to be his lawfully wedded wife?

Mikah:
I do, without hesitation.  Mikah kissed Angel upon her cheek. He then took his seat.

Gage:  If there is anyone who can give just cause why these two should not be wed on this night speak now or forever be silent.

You could hear a pin drop in the cathedral.  No one said a word.

Gage : 
Welcome one and all, and witness Damon Salvatore and Kitten Blood as they pledge their dedication to walk the night together for all eternity.  We are gathered here tonight because there are two souls among us who cry out for union. They have walked together for a time now, and they have realized that they no longer wish to walk alone.

Gage:
A very lucky few of us can find that person: someone who helps us carry our burdens and achieve our dreams, just as we, in turn, help them.  It is a rare and wondrous occasion when we realize that we have found someone to build a existence with; and such an occasion should be celebrated, solemnly and joyfully, among family and friends.

Gage:
From the night we come, to the night we go,
Cursed or blessed to walk the Moonlight alone.
Sometimes another soul walks our path,
Then two become one, in love everlasting.
Come forward, Children of the Blood,
And welcome this couple to your brood,
Within each other, these two are found,
Bear witness as their souls are bound.

(Gage binds the couple's left wrists together with a crimson cloth. The binding takes place over a goblet of blood.)

Gage:
Angel, Do you give your blood freely into this goblet upon this night for communion?

Angel:  I will

(Damon bites into Angels wrist, crimson droplets of her blood flow freely into the chalice.)

Gage: 
Damon, Do you give your blood freely into this goblet upon this night for communion?

Damon:  I will

(Angel bites deep into Damon's wrist, crimson droplets of her blood flow freely into the chalice.)

Gage:
Stand now as ye will stand forever,
Like this crimson cloth your hearts are tethered,
This goblet's blood is your blood of devotion,
So drink from this dedication potion.

(The couple takes turns taking communion from the goblet with their right hands.)

Gage:
Angel Blood, repeat these vows:
I will stand by your side, hunt at your back, and fly within your Soul.
I will stand between you and all which would harm you.
I will shield you from the Light of Day with my flesh.
I will never betray you, for you are my Heart, my Soul and my Life.

Angel:
I will stand by your side, hunt at your back, and fly within your Soul.

I will shield you from the Light of Day with my flesh.
I will never betray you, for you are my Heart, my Soul and my Life.

Gage:
Damon Salvatore, repeat these vows:

Damon:

(Gage takes the goblet and pours the last drop upon the Altar.)

Gage:  
Damon and Angel.  By swearing yourselves to one another this night, you help forge a bond that will be with you in every time and in every place throughout the long journey of years.  Marriage is not merely a bond of the flesh;  it is also a binding of souls. 

Gage:
When we touch one another, when we kiss and make love, we do not embrace only the body.  We touch the spirit as well.  The union of flesh is sacred and beautiful, but the union of souls is forever.  Even when death separates you, that bond will remain.  Nothing is more eternal than a vampire's love. 

Gage:
Now that you understand this, are you still ready to swear yourselves to one another and enter into a binding union?

Gage:
Angel,  You have written your personal vows of devotion.  Please face Damon at this time and express your words of love to him.

Angel:
From the moment we met, we were broken inside. So use to following darkness being hurt or used. People making us into something we didn't recognize in us after a while. It took to very loving friends to find us a home for our hearts. Opening myself to you, loving you, and holding onto every special moment with you Damon Salvatore brought a light into my life again. A light I thought, I lost forever. It gave me more than I thought it could. It gave me something or should I say someone worth fighting for. You have my heart, my soul, and all of my life. You gave my heart more than just a home but, so much love and passion it only beats for you. You have my soul for the connection we have. My life began again the moment you walked in. The moment you asked me to move in with you was a very big stepping stone. Because, who knew we'd be raising a niece in that very home we now made for ourselves. Who knew we'd end up having Stefan clean up after arts and crafts Ophelia made. All I know is I will run in head first to danger with you. You are my everything, my world, and my entire life. I promise you, this I will always be by your side till the end of time. I will be the wife who will always fight by your side even if you think it is to dangerous. I will always find you if the day comes your humanity shuts off. I won't let you, lose yourself my devil man. I will make sure that when the time when we have children they know what it is like to have a family growing up. And let you kill any man who disrespects our future daughters. As long as you let me kill the women who tries to break our sons hearts. I will stand by you forever. I love you, always and forever devil man.

Gage:

Damon:
Babes, in the past 100 years or so. I have been dealt with a bad hand, had my share of heart breaks, shed blood all in a raging fit but the down side of it it kept me going and lead me to you, everything I was dealt with and put up with just pushed me to you and the day we meet, the moment we met I was in a Dark state, I was determined not to let another in again,  but then you broke down those walls and stole my heart and even with me being as cruel I can be you still love me. There's not a damn thing I wouldn't do for you. Every single moment spent with you is special to me.  I wouldn't trade you in for the world.  The world can burn for all I care, as long as I have you. I don't care what happens to the world around us.

You showed me that there was still hope in a world where i was drowning in the darkness.  I was falling into.  You are the reason I slowly switched my humanity back on, when before I was off and I was hell bent on not letting nobody in.  Now I am glad that I did let you into my heart.  You saw me for who I was.  You love me for who I am as I love you for who you are.  My soul is yours, just like my heart. No other will ever have either of them.  The spark I use to have came back to life the moment you became mine. The moment you agreed to move in with me and then the moment when I kidnapped you and married you in Vegas. now today its official my life starts right here with you, nothing and nobody will come between you and I and if anyone dare tries, I'll end them.

I can't see my life without you. There's no way.  Now that your part of it I am never letting you go. You are my heart, soul and everything in between.  Angel, you are the reason I will never have to turn off my humanity switch again.  I love you for the fact you won't let me slip back into the darkness.  I am always going to be at your side, always going to help you raise our Niece.  When we have a family of our own, I'll be not only a great father but a good husband to you. I love you with every part of me, Kitten.  Our sons and daughters will be very well protected even from those that break their hearts. Why? cause we'll be there to put those assholes in their place for messing with our children. I love you, For eternity, Kitten and I am always going to stand by your side, from this day forward, until my dying breath.

Gage:
Above you are the stars, below you are the stones. As time passes, remember, like the star should your love burn brightly, like the stone should your love be firm. Be close, yet not so close that you restrict one another. Possess one another, yet grant each other the freedom to grow. Be understanding and compassionate, and have patience with each other, for storms may come, but they will quickly pass. Be free in giving affection and warmth. Fear not, lest the ways or words of the unenlightened give you unease. For the Lady and Lord are with you, now, and always.

Gage:
As both your arms and the cloth form the symbol of eternity, may your love endure through this life and all others. As the Gods and the old ones are witness with those of us present now, I proclaim them Husband and Wife, and thus are they Bonded in Blood. The two are now one.

Gage:
Everyone hear bears witness to this rite. Your hearts know that you two are wed.
I present to The Blood,  Damon and Angel.  Forever Bound, Eternally Free! You are husband and wife for eternity. Damon You may now kiss your beautiful wife.  Show all of us your passion for one another.
 
Damon took Angel into his embrace and kissed her with a great passion.  Tears of joy ran down their faces as they were now man and wife.

Gage:
Our thanks to everyone who has gathered here tonight to bear witness to these vows. May I present to you Mr And Mrs. Damon Salvatore, forever.
